Customer Review: It doesn’t even match my shoes!
The bright pink color makes my laptop easy to spot – there is no mistaking it when going through airport security! I am sure that my laptop would be battered if not for this case, so it is serving at least one purpose. One of the enticements to this purchase was that even while stuck in the library I could accessorize by changing the case, however, I have found the case difficult to remove and fear that I will break either the case or the computer each time I try to remove it. So I have stuck with the pink case, which is great for picking my laptop out of the crowd and effectively protects the outside from scratches and scrapes. Oddly, as difficult as the case is to remove, dust seems to find its way inside which is kind of annoying. Maybe one of the opaque covers would temper this annoyance.

Customer Review: ventilation issue after several months
I’ve really enjoyed this case in the year since I got it. However, recently my laptop seems to be getting kind of upset about the bottom case. It runs very hot and I can hear the fan working hard. The minute I remove the case, it cools and quiets down. Again, it has been a great case for a year, but now I probably won’t be able to use it (at least the bottom half) anymore.

I ordered this case a few months ago for my brand-new mac book pro that I didn’t want anything to happen to. I was disgusted with the high price–I mean seriously? It’s a piece of plastic, I’m sure it costs cents to make and then speck has the nerve to charge a ridiculous price for what they’re actually selling, but whatever. I broke down because my $2,000 dollar laptop seemed worth it.
